WHHHAAATT?!?!?!

Well Hello there my fellow Bloggers! So I had to get a physical done for work. Now keep in mind I have never had to get a physical done for any of my other jobs so I was not sure what that included. Well my appointment was for 8:30 in Huntersville so I left my house at 7:30 to deal with traffic. Well apparently there was a wreck and so I didn't get there till 9:00 and I wasn't brought back till 9:30. Anyways the NP comes in and listens to my heart....She asks me "Do you ever feel like your heart is racing?" No why? "Because you have an extra heartbeat." What? I'm not pregnant I swear. No no no do you drink alot of caffiene? Why yes, yes I do. I can't function without it. But I haven't had any this morning. "Well it doesn't matter it's very common." Wheew ok. "But I would like to do an EKG just to be sure." Well did that and I haven't heard the results yet. Needless to say I got 3 vials of blood taken so lets see how that turns out. To distract you from my boring day here is another photo of the day for you lovely people! Enjoy! Night people

Sunday Funday!

Well Hello there fellow bloggers! I hope you had a great weekend!
There is just something about this time of year that brings out the kid in all of us. I went to the farmers market with my friends Sloane and Sarah and I asked them if any of the pumpkins were calling to them and of course they said yes. So we purchased our pumpkins and headed back to their house to carve them. I still love the squishyness of the insides of pumpkins and the smell and slimmyness of the seeds as I seperated them to bake in the oven tomorrow. It brings me back to being little and how hard it was for me to carve a pumpkin and how the carvings consisted of triangles for eyes and a nose and mouth and now look what I can do. I hope to never be old enough to not appreciate the feeling of carving a pumpkin cause I think it is one of those things in life that keeps you feeling young. Well I hope y'all can carve a pumpkin soo and experience the happiness of the little things in life. Y'all have a good night!

Did ya miss me?

Hello fellow bloggers! Sorry to be so slack on posting but with getting a job and working with kiddies all day I'm pretty worn out. I'm enjoying my job and falling in love with some of the kids. I'm still not ready to have any but I really do enjoy playing games and singing with them and I feel old when they say Miss. Heather you know that song? And you know who Mary Poppins is? Yes of course I do sweetie we have been friends for a long time.....Thats sooooo cool! I have gotten back into photography again and I really want a nice camera for for all of you people out there my birthday is next week *wink *wink. I did photgraphy for a friends intimate backyard wedding with a point and shoot camera and I have to say I think I did a banging good job but you be the judge. While shooting this wedding I thought of my own 3 years ago and how my friends were there to help me get ready and calm my nerves and always knowing what to say. I miss my at one point and time best friend who helped me through a very difficult time and I wish she was in my life again. Maybe one day we can reconnect. A girl can hope right? You don't know how many times I wanted to pick up the phone and call but was scared that she wouldn't answer. Sorry to get deep there it has been on my mind for a long time and get it out there. Y'all have a good night.

Virginia is for HeeHee: Day 1!

Good day to ya fellow bloggers! Wow do I have so much to get y'all caught up on! Went to Richmond last friday to see family and friends. Of course as I am pulling into my cousins neighborhood I get the phone call that I have been waiting almost a month for. It was the "you're hired!" call. Crap I'm in VA. They said thats ok I still needed to get a TB test background check and fingerprints done. So I was good to stay up there for the weekend! My cousin lives in the Church Hill part of Richmond where the houses are beautiful and yet can be a little sketchy all at the same time. C is an amazing horsewoman who has 3 horses Belmont who is a huge stubborn guy, Chick aka chicken head who is also huge but sweet and he grunts when he poops which makes me laugh. And little Zeke who is the son of My other Aunts old horse Amare. He is very sweet and a little lazy aka the perfect horse for me. C brought her dog Roxie to the barn with us and even though she is 10 years old she acts like a pup out there and loves to eat fresh horse poo, swim in poo puddles, fight with ponies for said poo and run with C when she rides. Well C and I were on the trial and Roxie starts to egg on some dogs that were behind the fence and of course the ponies get spooked. But I handled it very well and wasn't scared at all. C is amazing on horseback and I love to watch her jump. (Did I mention she is getting her PHD yah she is that amazing!)So friday night after C cooked a kickass meal of grilled veggies, warm potato salad, and buffalo chicken strips. It was time for the ghost tour of her neighborhood. Now the lady that was our guide was trying to be funny through most of the tour and I am sorry but that is my designated role in life to be the class clown and be funny. This girl bless her heart she was trying so hard to be spooky and funny but it just wasn't working out for her. So we come to this lookout where you can see all of Richmond and there is a couple laying in each others arms and I say to C "you're welcome, we just prevented a pregnancy" everyone thought it was hilarious. When we get back to her house we stayed up and talked and drank a little bit and then finally crashed around 2 am. stand by for day 2! :)

What you picked 2 year olds?!?!

Good day to you fellow bloggers! Sorry it has been awhile since I have been on here but alot has changed since the last time I was on here. I kinda got a job! I say kinda because I haven't been given a yes or no. But I have been going to observation. But I am getting ahead of myself....the job is at a daycare. I really like all the kids but I have fallen in love with the 2 year olds!Yes they are hyper and love the word no and love to do things on their own. But their imaginations are amazing and I love to watch the way their mind works. A majority of the kids are working on potty training and quite a few are actually potty trained. So when the director asked which classroom I wanted to spend more time in after a tour of the facility...she about fell out on the ground when I said two year olds. Even though while sitting on the ground and pretending to eat plastic food as 6 kids are shoving "pretasted" plastic food that is dripping with spit in my mouth and all over my face. I enjoyed it and laughed and smiled from sheer joy. I really hope that in the next week they will say you're hired and I can experience the sound of a child laughing from excitment everyday! Well gotta finish laundry and pack heading to VA in the morning to visit my cousin for the weekend! Y'all have a good weekend ya hear!

'Mess of Me' - Switchfoot (Official Music Video) NEW Single 2009 [HD]

The song says I dare you to move!

Good day to ya fellow bloggers! Monday August 9th 2010 will forever be etched into my memory. That is the day I received a phone call asking for me to come in for an interview on Thursday August 12th! After 2 years and 7 months to the day of applying for jobs and hearing nothing in return I finally get the phone call that will change my life as I know it. I am not going to know how to act if I do get a job. Oh believe me i am going to work harder at this job than any other job because I am will be so grateful to have it. But I am getting ahead of myself let me get to the interview first! So tuesday The Golden Girls I'm Blanche, Sarah is Rose, Tabitha is Sophia and Sloane is Dorothy. All went to Goo Goo Dolls/ Switchfoot. I was more excited about Switchfoot than Goo Goo dolls cause I love them! Well Switchfoot comes out and I'm looking for the lead singer on stage and I can't find him I can hear him singing but cannot see him well low and behold he is in the audience and he is heading towards the lawn area right by us! Well all I can say is thank goodness for having tall friends (Tabitha) cause she got some awesome shots of him (Jon Foreman). Oh and on his back to the stage he put his hand on my shoulder of course it was because he was running and needed my big butt to get out of the way. But hey it counts right? Well Y'all I believe I should get some sleep wish me luck my little bogheads!

Mmmmm Banana puddin'!

Good day to ya fellow bloggers!!! Whoo-wweee what a weekend! I hope y'all had a good weekend! Let me just tell ya about mine! Friday- We and my we I mean my usual crew went to Hickory Tavern to celebrate Curtis' birthday! Needless to say he was "enjoying" his birthday cause he had to have had at least 12-15 shots and I have no idea how many beers. But throughout the night (and don't ask me how it got started) but a bouncy ball was being passed around in peoples beers. Just random and unsuspecting people would end up with it in their beers. It was pretty funny looking at all the confused looks on peoples faces. Well HT was having kareoke and we signed the birthday boy up for YMCA well he decided he was going to sing Watching airplanes. He did pretty good considering he was using the mic stand to hold him up and I thought for sure he was going to crash into the monitor and I was pretty impressed that he could still read the words. There was a lot fists being thrusted into the air and very theatric hand gestures throughout the song! Needless to say it was awesomely epic! Well about 10 minutes after that we had to carry the birthday boy out and take him home. Todd had to carry upstairs and put him to bed it was an all in all great night! Saturday- I had to get up early and head down to Charlotte to help my friend Laura with a wedding that she was directing it was for her nextdoor neighbor and it took place at a house on MI lake and it was beautiful. I helped make center pieces and decorate the arbor she made beautiful bouquets, coursages and bootineers. (sorry if I spelled any or all of those wrong) Anyways the wedding went off without a hitch and then it was time for the reception it was very pretty with all the lanterns and candles. The couple had a dessert bar instead of a full buffet and it was so cute all these fabulous desserts in miniform my personal favorite was the mini banana puddings so friggin yummy! They also made rice krispies lollipops which were bangin! Well it comes to the end of the night and it is time for the newlyweds to leave and LL needs to put stuff in the car and she cannot find the grooms keys I mean his phone and glasses are there but no keys! We look and look and tear up the room they were in trying to find them. So they end up acting like they are leaving for the cameras. So after not finding the keys the newlyweds leave with friends. Well somehow someone found the keys in the field where the cars were parked and so I got to drive the just married car home to their house. Yah that was awkward! What a weekend I miss the ache of my back from working hard and earning money I can't wait to feel that again. Well I am still tired from this weekend so I'll talk to y'all later! Night my little bloggers!

I want some geisha lips too!

Good day to you fellow bloggers! So today was a good day! Went to Huntersville and had an amazing dinner at Eez. Then went over to a friends house that I hadn't hung out with in a long time. She has 2 beautiful girls a 8 year old and a 4 year old. Well they of course were full of energy and wanted to play makeover. So the first look was bright bright red blush that was all over my cheeks and basically I looked like what Ronald Mcdonald would look like if he had a beard. And bright blue eye shadow and whore red lipstick that was smeared all over my face like I made out with Bozo the clown. After using some paint thinner to remove that from my face and neck, my friend wanted in on the action too. Well she says lets all do our makeup like geishas! Brilliant yes I think we should. So here we go all of us use the teeny tiny white eye shadow to paint our faces white then put the whore red lipstick in the center of our lips. Her youngest says I want geisha lips too! So we all march out in full makeup and the guys die laughing at us. I miss playing dress up and it brought me back to my childhood and I miss those days so much! So I say to all of us adults that are still young at heart play dress up and use your makeup to look like fools and get a good laugh out of it. Cause believe me it doesn't matter how mature you think you are if you can look at yourself in the mirror and laugh then you can keep yourself humble. Have a good day y'all!

I anthropologize but we can buy nothing in this store

Good day to you bloggers! So met up with G and met for coffee and it was a tad bit awkward because my husbands ex bosses wife works there but its ok my campfire mocha was amazing. Anyways after that I made the trek down to huntersville to meet up with S and S. They decide to go get their toes done but since I am broke I decided to hang out with T instead. Well T and I go to Off Broadway shoes so I can get a purse with a giftcard I had. After test driving several purses I went with my standard black purse however it is by ecko so don't judge. So then we head to the mall for lunch and to walk around where we met up with S and S. I tried on a kick ass millitaryesque dress that I want super bad! I'm telling you I have never looked so good in a dress in my life! After the sticker shock I recovered I put back the dress and moved on. T had to go so I stayed with S and S and went to anthropologie where "Rose" almost ran away when she thought we had broken something. I really really wanted this cookie jar that looked like an owl and when I saw the price on it I almost died $128.00 are you kidding me that much for something "I am just going to put oreos in I don't think so! So as we are walking out I say to S and S I anthropologize but there is nothing we can afford in that store. I thought it was pretty witty and genius on my part. After a dinner of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and mac and cheese and day 3 of shark week I would say it was a pretty awesome day! Lets see what is in store for tomorrow!!!! Night y'all

Oh did I not leave you enough room in the bed

Good day to you fellow bloggers! Let me just say that there is no better feeling than fresh sheets and comforter straight out of the dryer and myself being so fresh and so clean straight out of the shower. However I really need to get on a better sleep schedule cause I mean I don't have a baby so I should be glad that I can sleep throughout the night uninterupted. Cept for the grumpy Buddah he has the classic middle child attitude. And heaven forbid you move your legs while he has gone dead weight on them. I don't understand how a dog that weighs 30lbs can all of a sudden when asleep and might I add snoring loudly can weigh 400lbs. I mean it is rediculous when you cannot feel your toes. But I love all 3 of my dogs. Copper is my lover boy and my oldest at 5 and he is a beagle. Next is Buddah but most of the time I end up yelling at him and calling him a$$hole but he is a cockerspaniel with a major attitude problem nothing like his name implies. He is 4 years old. And then last but not least is Todds girl Bitty and she is a husky mix and she very shy and gets into weird funks every once in a while. I am pretty sure she was abused before we got her. And I love her but I hate how much she sheds I will never own another husky again cause lets face it she requires me to clean my house alot more than I perfer. Well Copper and Buddah sleep with Todd and I. Now keep in mind we have a king sized bed and these dogs aren't that big until they go to sleep and when they sleep they are two huge great danes. They insist on using Todd and I as pillows. And I wish we had properly trained them to use dog beds or crates but we didn't and it is a little late now. And even though we complain I find comfort in having a beagle curled up in the crook of my legs when I sleep on my side. So to you I say good night and talk to you later!

I just made you say underwear.

Good day to ya fellow bloggers! So friday I went to the BareNaked Ladies concert with Sarah and Sloane aka Rose and Sophia. Tab aka Dorothy couldn't make it cause she is redoing her floors. Any who we get there early I mean like 6:30 and get a great spot on the lawn right next to the walkway and right past the seated area. So while the opening acts are on we see a bunch of medics heading down the the seated area where there is a man on the ground. They manage to get him out of there and I think he was ok. Next are you kidding me moment happened when a bunch of drunk people went to sit it the "boxes" in front of us on the opposite side of the walkway. Well managment busts them and they get out well while the manager guy is telling other people to get out of the "box" right next to them the drunk group sits right down. Really guys really? Next episode happened with a very intoxicated gentleman from said stealing box seats group when he was walking along the walkway and busted it. I mean my man had to have concret in between his teeth. The whole area went OOOHHHHH and then clapped. So BNL is hilarious I would recommend anyone to see them. Cause you will laugh your ass off. Well an awesome guy jumped up on stage and started dancing behind the lead singer well he was very quickly escorted off stage and out of the amphitheater. And finally for the best part....drunk lady down the lawn from us gets up and starts to have a seizure just kidding she was attempting to dance but I was getting ready to call the medics. Well her friend gets up and attempts to mimic the leader but sadly no one can copy that. Well they are "dancing" on the walkway and where the "box" seats are there is a good 3 foot drop well friend loses it and I am thinking for sure she is going to fall over the side and all I am going to see is feet flying backwards. But sadly she doesn't and catches herself and gets a huge applause from the audience. All in all it was a great show. Well when we get back to Sloane and Sarahs...Sarah and I go to my bros house where a bunch of my friends and hubby are at where we hear tons of trash talk and see shirtless men and toss a keg. Have a good day y'all PS who is ready for shark wee.....I am!

What kind of sound do you think a CowFish makes?

Good day to ya! So yesterday around noontime Channon called and asked Todd and I if we could go to southpark to be part of a focus group for a new resturant CowFish. It's a combo of sushi and burgers aka heaven to me. Sure we will be glad to eat for free! So of course southpark pops into my head and all I can think is I have no clothes for southpark so I went with my uniform of black shirt and jeans. And off to southpark we go. We walk into the resturant and sit down and while we are waiting for the owner to go over what we will be tasting in walks this older kinda bummish looking man with blond almost white hair. Todd goes do you know who that is I said no he looks homeless he goes no thats Rick Flair, Nature Boy, The biggest thing to come out of Charlotte, you know the guy that does the "whoo" lottery ticket commercials that after you see them you go around the house copying him. I say huh well thats dissapointing. He says Heather do you expect him to wear his wrestling uniform all the time? Well no but you would think with all the money he has he could look less like a bum. So anyways I digress. The food was amazing on the way back we went to the movies at northlake cause they are 5 dollars monday through thursday. While at the mall I got my ring replaced at swarovski because a couple of the crystals fell out they gave me a new ring no paperwork and no questions asked which I must say I think is amazing and for Christmas I want a ring that looks like a wedding band from there since the chances of me finding a replacement diamond are slim to none. So later on that night Todd gets a call from Channon saying the owner really liked us and would like for us to come to the grand opening. Then they started talking about me and he would like for me to come in for an interview for a hostess position. So that would be amazing!!! Anywho going to the Barenaked Ladies concert tonight with Sarah and Sloane cause I refuse to accept the fact that I am getting old and I want to relive my childhood. Have a good day Bloggers!

I feel like Heather Potter

Spec Luna
Spec a month ago
Luna a month ago

So after dropping my application at The Sunshine House in huntersville I stopped at my friend T's house. She is putting down new floors and so far what she has done looks awesome! Well she tells me that the owls are visiting. Ok here is the back history on the owls. Her sister works for a raptor center and is hand raising a barn owl named luna and a spectacled owl named spec. Well Luna the barn owl is very moody and some would even say bitchy for an owl while Spec is chill and just a love bug. Well while T and I were talking Luna flies up onto my shoulder and starts preening me. I was very suprised that she did that is when I had my Harry Potter moment! I felt so special! All I needed was my glasses and my lightning bolt scar to be complete! Thought y'all would like to meet the two newest loves of my life!

Goop in my hair

Good day to ya! Yesterday was interesting. Got up and going around noon and heading to northlake to do a survey. So I walk into the office and I feel like I am heading into some sort of clinic. White walls no art, gray plain chairs and completely silent no white noise or music. Just the sound of doors opening and closing. So after filling out the paperwork I sit there and fiddle on my phone. Finally I am asked to come back. I dunno why I felt nervous but I did. A nice woman puts sensor pads on my temple above my eyebrow (which needs to be waxed desperatly) And then came the fun part the eeg cap! A tight fitting swim cap with holes in it. So the woman starts to squeeze huge amounts of leave in conditioner into these holes. And I am not going to lie it felt good and it made me realize how desperate I am to have a massage or to get my hair done. So after the holes are filled with conditioner she snaps the sensors into place. Then she places one last sensor on the tip of my nose to make sure I am still breathing during the test. I go down a hallway that has glass on each side and huge tvs in individual rooms. ( I was going to take a picture of myself before the test but I thought the lady would frown on that) So I sit in a comfy chair with a foot rest and a infared camera to record my facial expressions. (All I could think of was I bet Paris Hilton used something like this in her "videotape") I watch 3 ads that look like they came straight out a 70's national geographic then I had to press a button anytime I saw a blue frog pop up on screen. I was ticked with myself cause I messed up once. I could tell I was starting to zone out there at the end. Finally she said the test was complete and took my cap off and sensors. Only then as I ran my fingers through my hair did I realise the amount of conditoner. The woman assured me it would dry well 4 hours later in the hot heat of summer it still wasn't dry and my hair was starting to look like the gulf coast all oily (I took a shower and my parents.) So I take my check for $100 thats right $100 and run to the bank to cash then to the delicous cookout and then to the parents to hang out. All in all it was a good day. Lets see what today has in store!

I hate summer

Sorry readers but this is going to be a ranting post! Summertime which to most people is full of vacations to the beach, drinking by the pool, and hanging out on the lake. But for me I hate summer! Nothing good happens to this lady. Jobs are lost, bill collectors collect, relationships disolve, people I love die and people I love move away. So Summer f-u! I don't want to hate you summer but so far you have dissapointed me! So I say to you summer step up! Let something good happen to me! I deserve it I am a good person! But until then I am going to eat my feelings. I hope y'all have a better day than I did July 23rd. Hopefully tomorrow I will have something more uplifting to tell y'all about. Oh yah and to top it off I broke a chair and had a stone cold sober conversation while sitting on the ground with my knees around my neck. So that just added the icing to the hate cake I have baking for summer!

Challenge to myself

Good day to ya fellow bloggers and blog readers! Lets see if I can keep this up. I also promised myself I would keep up with twitter but that didn't happen. So far today it has been pretty uneventful woke up at 9:45- gah i need a job. Played on facebook and checked my frontierville (you're welcome) Then of course I had to hit up people (Orlando Bloom got secretly married) and perez hilton (where I watched a hilarious clip of little girls acting like the real housewives of new jersey) By this time it is 10:15 so I decide it is time to read the book I borrowed from my friend SLoane. The Idiot girl and the Flaming Tantrum of Death. This book has made me LOL and I think every girl should read it! Now it is 11:00 and my stomach is about to eat itself. Fix coffee and prepare some scrambled eggs. Yah the pan I used for the eggs was peeling off when i would stir the eggs so there goes 4 eggs. (the pups were happy though) Made some grits instead lets see how long that can hold me off for.
